The edit toolbar is the bar that appears on the top of the editing box when editing an article in source mode. The bar is very useful to help insert wikitext that will allow for easy styling of a page.

Usage exampleEdit

To turn a piece of text into an internal link, select the text you wish to turn into a link and press the third button on the toolbar.

You can format existing text by highlighting the text you want to format and clicking the relevant button on the toolbar. If you click a button without selecting any text, sample text will be inserted at the cursor's position (an example is Bold text when using the first button).

Custom buttons can also be added to the bar - see Help:Custom edit buttons for more details.
